The Fayal (Minn.) Fire Department has taken delivery of a pumper from CustomFIRE Apparatus. The apparatus, built on an International 7400 two-seater chassis, is powered by an International DT570 310-hp engine with an Allison 3000 EVS automatic transmission. It features a midship-mounted Waterous 1,250-gpm, single-stage pump; a 2,000-gallon polypropylene tank; Whelen siren and LED lights; a FoamPro single-agent foam system; 10" gravity dumps with telescoping chutes and two crosslay-style preconnect hosebeds. There is also integral hand tool and SCBA storage and slide-in storage for ladders and suction hoses.
