The Broadalbin-Kennyetto (N.Y.) Fire Company: HME

The Broadalbin-Kennyetto (N.Y.) Fire Company has taken delivery of an HME rescue pumper. Built on an HME 1871-SFO chassis with an SFO-MFD 12" raised-roof cab, the apparatus is powered by a 350-hp Cummins ISL engine and an Allison 3000 EVS five-speed transmission. The apparatus features a Hale Qflo 1,250-gpm pump, a 1,500-gallon APR polypropylene tank, a 6-kW Onan PTO-driven hydraulic generator and an 18" extended tailboard.
