The City of Gonzales (La.) Fire Department has taken delivery of a Ferrara rescue pumper built on a Spartan Metro Star chassis. The rig is powered by a 330-hp Cummins ISC engine and an Allison EVS 3000 transmission. It features a 750-gallon polypropylene water tank, two 20-gallon foam tanks and a FoamPro Hypro 2001 foam system. Also included are a Waterous CSU 1,500-gpm, single-stage pump; Super Vac command lights; and an 80" Tomar lightbar.
