The Dietrich (Idaho) Fire District: Pierce

The Dietrich (Idaho) Fire District has taken delivery of a Pierce Contender pumper built on a Kenworth T-300 chassis that seats five. The apparatus features a Cummins ISC 300 engine, an Allison 3000 EVS automatic transmission, a 1,000-gallon water tank and air brakes. Other equipment includes a Waterous CS 1,250-gpm, single-stage pump; two telescoping masts; Whelen LED lighting; a Code 3 electric siren; built-in ladder storage; a FoamPro 2001 foam system; a deck gun; and a booster reel.
