Firefighters in major cities are being trained to take on a new role as lookouts for terrorism, raising concerns of eroding their standing as American icons and infringing on people's privacy.

Kan. firefighter collapses, dies at firehouse

Names: Michael J. Tluscik
Date: November 21
City: Kansas City, Kansas
Cause: Firefighter Tluscik collapsed at his firehouse on the eve of Thanksgiving. Efforts to revive him failed. The cause of death remains unknown.
