Where Did You Come From?
I was recently doing some yard work when I looked across the street and saw an elderly gentleman fall at the corner store. It took me a moment to realize what I was seeing, but then I took off running. I lifted him to his feet, keeping him from falling head first. His wife, who had watched the entire scene, looked at me and said, "Where did you come from?"

FireRescue1 Forum Post of the Week
When I was diagnosed with a disorder as a child, I felt like I couldn't do what others did, and that I was somehow not smart enough. The truth is, I, and you, can do anything you want. You are not limited by a disorder. It means you may have to work harder, but you aren't limited by it.

I found that believing I had a disorder caused me to do things poorly, but today I know differently. I'm setting out for a career in the military, and in the meantime, while I'm going to college, I'm planning on being a volunteer firefighter. So you can do the same. You should definitely go for it.
