Problem: You need a lightweight, no-hassle, all-purpose harness. External harnesses are fine for rescue operations, but for everyday wear they are heavy and always in the way. Internal harnesses are simpler, but are typically heavy, hard to adjust, and restrictive. The new Globe Cairns IH Pants use hidden KEVLARŪ leg loops between the shell and the liner without the need for any hardware. Just put your pants on, buckle the waist buckle, and you are ready to attach the tether of your choice. The patent pending harness is certified to NFPA 1983 (Life Safety) as a Class II seat harness, but the IH Pants make it seem like you're not wearing a harness at all.
