"One needs to be well balanced when it comes to education and experience. If your scale is heavier on one side of the scale versus the other side doesn't create a well rounded firefighter. It takes both."  "While I can see where the decision to ban the pink shirts is legitimate, I also disagree with it completely. It is our job as FFs to 'protect and serve,' and while this may be a change of uniform, it can still be a uniform for the month and not only promote each department in a good light, for a good cause, but can allow us to SERVE in another capacity."
