PPE special report: Fire helmets roundtable; Key features for rescue gloves

In This Issue

Dear FireRescue1 Member,

Firefighters know their personal protective equipment like they know their spouses and children — the relationship is that close. You spend so much time in it doing complex tasks, that it becomes a second skin.

In this, the debut of our new Quarterly Product Supplement series, we examine the current state of the PPE landscape from a variety of angles. Featuring a series of interviews with experts, top manufacturers and readers, this supplement looks at not only what is available and how to make the best gear choices, but what is likely on the PPE horizon. Whether it's boots, gloves, helmets or bunkers, we have our preferences — and we all know that there may come a time when our PPE is the last line of defense.

Tell us what you think of this Quarterly Product Supplement and keep an eye out for future editions. Stay safe.
