Dear FR1 Member
Over the past several years, there has been more discussion about firefighters' risk of cancer. In this month's eNews, we jump into this topic with an explanation of what cancer is, how firefighters are especially susceptible to this disease and steps we can take to avoid it. We also promote adding yoga as a daily exercise routine, since it offers a long list of benefits that will let help you spend more time working the fire and less time in rehab.
And lastly, be sure to check out how one firefighter's rehab invention is helping to keep high school students cool.
