CEDAP 2008 Application Period Now Open

The application period for the 2008 Commercial Equipment Direct Assistance Program (CEDAP) began at 0900EDT on May 30, 2008.

CEDAP is sponsored by he National Preparedness Directorate, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It complements other major grant programs by providing technology and equipment, together with training and technical assistance required to operate that equipment, to public safety agencies in smaller jurisdictions and certain metropolitan areas.

Applications may be submitted via the Responder Knowledge Base (www.rkb.us). Links are available on the Responder Knowledge Base home page for general program information as well as initiation of applications. A sample application in PDF format is also available. However, actual applications must be submitted on line. Applications will be accepted until 1700EDT on Monday, June 30th.
