COPPELL, Texas — Yes, apparently Santa does have a good heart. Santa — or rather Texas resident Brad Luddeke — was dressed in full Santa costume when he pulled a man from a burning truck in Coppell, a Dallas suburb.
The truck was burning near the corner of the intersection of Interstate 635 and Belt Line Road. Santa, or Luddeke, was out directing traffic as the truck burned after the two-vehicle collision. An area resident named Margie Culberson took out her iPhone and recorded Santa serving as a good Samaritan.
Luddeke is from Arlington. He was dressed in Santa costume delivering toys to families in need — something he does each year. A former volunteer firefighter, he pulled the man from the burning truck.
