GREAT MILLS, Md. — Helmet cam footage captures a bailout at a Md. house fire on Sunday.
Firefighters from several different stations were dispatched to battle the single-story house fire, according to Hollywood VFD.
When more firefighters arrived, they saw an interior firefighter at a window asking for help, saying he was burning and had fallen through the floor. Crews assisted the firefighter and pulled him away from the structure.
A mayday was also delivered during the blaze as contact was broken with some of the firefighters, but was called off once contact was restored.
One firefighter was airlifted to the hospital but was later released and another refused treatment and has recovered.

Rommie DuckworthTuesday, November 27, 2012 4:30:07 AMDo I hear correctly that the T3 officer confirms that he has PAR for his group?
Patrick LynchTue Nov 27 05:35:12 PST 2012Yes, but the question asked at 3:19 is report on the "remainder of your crew".
Rommie DuckworthWed Nov 28 07:49:55 PST 2012Indeed. That's why I was asking. Makes me worry that an officer has one of his people has to bail. Makes me more worried that he believes that his crew is still 100% together, and accounted for.
Jared ShollyThu Nov 29 14:01:43 PST 2012I had the same concern. That is one the biggest things I will take to my department.
Jared ShollyTuesday, November 27, 2012 9:33:26 AMWhy was there such a seperation of the crew. It seems like the interior crews should have known he was in trouble far sooner than exterior crews.
Dylan SmithTuesday, November 27, 2012 12:21:46 PMFore we Monday night quarterback exactly what happened, let's make sure these brave men are all ok. I'm sure their department will critique there actions, but no fire ground runs perfectly. Good luck gentlemen I wish you a speedy recovery
Jared ShollyTuesday, November 27, 2012 12:51:57 PMNot playing "Monday Night Quarterback" just trying to understand the scene when we train within our department on how to prevent this in the future. If you read the article all have been release and one refused care. If you don't ask questions, no one will learn.........
Jared ShollyTuesday, November 27, 2012 12:57:22 PMThe last thing we want to do is arm chair a scene, but clairification for training in the case is needed. I will stand up and support all firefighters who have gone through similiar events, but let's attempt to learn from others misfortune. Mr. Smith if you have anything to do with training within your department you would understand this point. I also wish the best to these gentlemen. Let's not make this a forum of arguement, but for learning.
Tuesday, November 27, 2012 2:05:25 PMGreat communications. Very calm and professional. Good job guys.
