Job Description

FT position responsible for teaching to a diverse student population. May teach day & evening classes as req’d. Qualifications: Min AAS deg in Fire Science, Fire Protection Tech or related Fire deg. Bachelor in Applied Science, Public Admin, Fire Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health Tech or similar field of study pref. NC Fire & Rescue Level II Instructor for Fire Fighter, Fire Fighter II Certification, Hazardous Material Awareness, & Hazardous Material Operations req’d. NC Rescue Tech pref. Valid NC Driver License-Class B. Satisfactory completion of teaching credentials for courses assigned. Community College teaching or training exp pref. Acceptable background check req’d.
