Job Description

Canidates should be currently certified by the AHA as BLS Instructors and have current EMS or Fire Service experience. Instructors are presented with a large list of training opportunities they can sign up for. They can work as much as they wish. This works very well for those working on shifts - simply sign up for classes while you are off shift or switch with your buddies as you can. We pay a flat fee on a per class basis. Our Instructors are considered independant contractors and are issued a 1099 on an annual basis. Instructors must be able to present well to a highly educated audience and present a polished appearance. We have available openings in MD, DE, NJ, PA, NY (NYC!!), CT, RI, MA, VT, NH and ME!!

Additional Information

We are a busy regional training center with national contracts for household name large corporations. While we primiarily teach CPR, we also run classes from Babysitting to Lifeguarding to EMS CEU courses, to advanced Firearms training. Mine Brook SAR is based in NJ and covers an area from MD to ME and as far west as Pittsburg / Buffalo. We are a not for profit corporation (IRS 501(c)3). Our three divisions, Emergecy Response, Public Education and Adventure Travel provide a wealth of opportunity for interested people.

Experience 1 year of any emergency service
