Grand Prairie is continuously making a name for them selves and we are especially excited about the opportunities for our Fire Department. Our new state-of-the-art Public Safety Building is up and running which is the new home for our Fire Administration. We have also re-located Station 7 which will serve the Lake Joe Pool Area.

Job Requirements

Education High School Diploma or GED
Additional Requirement :
Only those meeting the requirements will be able to apply: 1.Must be a U.S. Citizen between the ages of 21 and 35 (Applicant 36 years of age or older is not eligible for a beginning position as a firefighter) 2.Must have a High School Diploma or GED 3.Must have Texas Paramedic Certification or License OR National Registry Paramedic Certificate or License. Salary Information

Salary: $47,916 - $65,833 annual
