Position Title: Paramedic/Firefighter

Job Description

Basalt Fire Rescue is recruiting for a full time ( 48/96) Paramedic/Firefighter. The ability to work with minimal resources as a genuine team player, coupled with a strong background in EMS and suburban/rural firefighting would help a candidate for consideration. CO or NREMT-P ( or I-99) and experience with firefighting required for hire, with FFI, FFII, wildland firefighting and "support" functions ( teaching, swiftwater rescue etc) required within given time frames.

Basalt Fire Rescue is a smaller combination department in the Roaring Fork Valley ( Aspen, Carbondale area) of Western Colorado. We rely heavily on volunteer responders supported by a core career group. You can get more information about Basalt at basaltfire.org
