We have developed a cheap and easy way to keep handles on wyes from getting accidentally knocked closed after the hose is attached.

We took a simple 18" Velcro strap that attaches to the handle. We then wrapped this around the hose and back around the handle. It is easy to remove,cheap to replace and works well. One of the greatest safety hazard to crews inside is if one of these handles gets bumped closed. It can reduce water flow and increase danger to those inside.
