MANCHESTER, N.H. — A woman was seriously hurt Wednesday morning when a fire truck hit her car at an intersection.
No names have been released, but police say the 22-year-old woman was taken to Elliot Hospital, where she was reported in stable condition.
A 3-year-old girl in the car was not hurt, but taken to the hospital as a precaution, police said.
The crash happened just before 7 a.m. as a pumper and a ladder truck responded to an alarm with their emergency lights and sirens on.
The pumper was ahead of the ladder truck and passed through the intersection. As the ladder truck passed through the intersection, it hit the car on the passenger side.
The intersection has four stop signs.
