Ill. volunteer dies after structure fire

LEWISTOWN, Ill. — A deputy chief volunteer died Saturday morning after fighting a mutual aid fire.

Donald Lee Grubor, 42, of the Lewistown Fire Protection District, was stricken shortly after he returned home from a structure fire, according to Billy Goldfeder of firefighterclosecalls.com.

Lewistown Rescue reported to the Deputy Chief Grubor's home, and have reported that they found him in cardiac arrest. The exact cause of death has not been officially determined.
