Video: Former firefighter arrested for Wal-Mart arson

Police said Kenneth Gray started a fire to distract employees while he walked out of the store with a cart full of stolen Halloween decorations

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A former firefighter was arrested and accused of starting a fire to distract Wal-Mart employees while he stole Halloween decorations.

Palm Beach Post reported that surveillance footage shows former West Palm Beach Fire Rescue firefighter Kenneth Gray putting items into a shopping cart and walking out of the store.

Authorities said that while employees rushed toward the fire, Gray left the store, followed by two other suspects, a man and a woman with a child, around two minutes later.

Gray is charged with first-degree arson and theft.
