MISSOULA, Mont. — A firefighter died Wednesday after being hit by a fallen tree while battling a fire in the Lolo National Forest.

KTVH reported that the Trenton Martin Johnson, 19, was battling the fire as part of a 20-person crew from Grayback Forestry Inc.

Johnson was flown to a hospital for treatment, but died from his injuries.
