3 Memphis firefighters burned in house fire
They sustained burns to their necks and are expected to fully recover
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three firefighters were injured while battling a house fire Monday afternoon.
WBRC reported that crews with the Memphis (Tenn.) Fire Department arrived and worked to put out the flames, but were unable to save the house.
The home was burned so badly that you could see through the second floor, according to the report.
The firefighters sustained burns to their necks and were taken to the hospital for evaluation. They are expected to fully recover.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
