Division Chief Davis Haden is a 22-year veteran of the Austin Fire Department and is in his second year as the division chief over AFD Facilities. In this role, Chief Haden is responsible for managing the construction of five new stations, along with the renovation of 15 existing fire stations and facilities that are scheduled for renovation over the next 24 months. This compressed schedule of major construction projects has forced Chief Haden to become an expert on the items that impact the community and the department during construction.
