CLEVELAND — The wife of a murdered Cleveland firefighter was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday.
FOX8.com reported that Uloma Curry-Walker was found guilty of aggravated murder and conspiracy. Her husband, Lt. William Walker, was killed in November 2013. Authorities said Curry-Walker began to plot her husband's murder in order to collect insurance money shortly after they got married.
She also recruited her daughter and her boyfriend and two others to help murder Lt. Walker. All four accepted plea agreements in exchange for testifying against Curry-Walker.
Curry-Walker was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
