House fire in Md. displaces 8
More than 55 firefighters responded to the house fire; no one was injured in the blaze

GLENELG, Md. — More than 55 firefighters from Howard, Carroll and Montgomery counties responded to a house fire in Glenelg Friday night, according to the Howard County department.
Firefighters were called at 11:19 p.m. to a home in the 13700 block of Bold Venture Drive where they found flames coming from the garage and side of the two-story single family home.
No one was injured. Eight people managed to escape the blaze before firefighters arrived, the department said. Firefighters rescued two dogs from the home.
The Red Cross responded to provide assistance to the family. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
