Cops rescue resident at NY building fire

Nassau County police officers engage in heroic fire rescue. Thinking on their feet, fifth precinct police officers James Schuerlein and Luis Ascencio commandeered a ladder from a nearby construction site to rescue two people from a second story window. Meanwhile, in the back of the building, police officers Evan Marro and Jason Dennington rescued four more people, two of which were children. A truly proud moment; outstanding work by our men in blue!
