ALBURGH, Vt. — Two firefighters were injured Monday after their fire truck crashed into a pole and into a ditch.

NECN.com reported that the firefighters were responding to a structure fire; they sustained minor injuries in the crash. Fire officials told NECN that cars were not making way for the fire truck en route to the scene.

Officials are looking for a driver, described as an older woman, who was in the area of the time of the crash; witnesses say the driver was blocking traffic.

More than eight departments responded to the blaze; everyone escaped from the fire unharmed.
