KME Receives Baldwin County, GA Order
Nesquehoning, PA – KME is pleased to announce the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners (GA) has awarded KME and its sales representative NAFECO, a purchase order for three (3) KME Custom Pumpers for the Baldwin County Fire Department, GA. Baldwin County chose KME because of the ease in customizing the apparatus to the specific needs of the department and because of standard features like our 29” deep compartments, which is the deepest in the industry.
The Baldwin County pumpers will be built on a KME PredatorTM PantherTM chassis with a 450hp engine, a cab with a 10” raised roof, seating for 4, and a cab EMS compartment with both internal and external access. The pumper body will be constructed of 3/16” aluminum and features a wide hose bed configuration with enclosed ladder storage within the body, backboard storage and safe, lowered crosslays. Additional features will include a Hale QFlo Plus-125, 1250 GPM Single Stage Pump, dual front bumper hose storage wells to accommodate 150’ of 1.75” forestry hose each, as well all LED lighting, and a Waterous Aquis1.5 Class “A” foam system. Fire departments are able to “tag-on” to this award for volume pricing. Contact a KME sales representative for details.
