Pa. FF trapped, injured on ladder while fighting house fire
Firefighter Richard Schuller of the Highland Hose Company got both of his feet caught, but fellow crewmembers were able to free him

TARENTUM, Pa. — A firefighter was injured at a house fire in Tarentum, Pa.
Firefighter Richard Schuller, 22, who is with from Highland Hose Company in Tarentum, got both of his feet stuck while fighting the fire from a ladder truck, Trib Live reported. Crewmembers freed him while the ladder was still in the air and as other crewmembers were fighting the fire.
Brittany Schuller, his cousin, was at the scene and said his screams could be heard from a “pretty good distance.”

As he was being wheeled to a stretcher in an ambulance, Richard Schuller gave two thumbs up.
Crews from Tarentum, New Kensington and Lower Burrell responded.
