LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Members of the Pierce Co. Fire and Rescue Department were called to assist a soldier whose parachute became tangled up in tree on American Lake Veterans Golf Course, KOMO News reported.
The soldier was unharmed, according to Deputy Chief Hallie McCurdy, who said firefighters had to trim several branches before attempting to bring him down. She said he climbed down the ladder on his own once it was in place.
No details were given as to the soldier’s name or his military branch affiliation.
