Lake Assault to showcase fire, rescue boats

A 21-foot rescue boat and 28-foot fireboat can be seen at FDIC 2017

Lake Assault Boats will display two fire and rescue boats at FDIC 2017.

Lake Assault's 21-foot rescue boat, which features removable side railings that enable quicker and easier access to rescue victims. Its 28-foot fireboat has a carrying capacity of 4,000 pounds; both will be showcased at the conference.

The 28-foot fireboat is manufactured from marine grade 5083 and 5086 aluminum; the hull and superstructure are MIG and TIG welded throughout for strength. It also includes twin Mercury Verado 250 horsepower outboard engines, along with Mercury Joystick Piloting and Skyhook Digital Anchor systems.

Other features include a Darley fire pump rated at 1,500 gpm, a 76-inch tall pilot house, full suite of Garmin electronics, 63-inch hydraulically operated bow door and LED underwater lights.
