NC firefighter hospitalized after roof collapses

CORNELIUS, N.C. — A firefighter suffered minor injuries after part of a roof collapsed Wednesday while battling a house fire.

WSOCtv reported that the firefighter was taken to a hospital and was treated and later released.

Fire officials said no one was home at the time and the family was on vacation, according to the report.
