Ill. firefighter hurt after fire truck crashes en route to call

The firefighter and two people from the other car were taken to the hospital, according to a Facebook post from Camp Jackson Fire Department

CAHOKIA, Ill. — A firefighter was sent to the hospital on Saturday after the firetruck he was in was involved in a crash.

While on the way to a fire, a Camp Jackson firetruck was involved in a car accident.

The firefighter and two people from the other car were taken to the hospital, according to a Facebook post from Camp Jackson Fire Department.

Details on the crash and the condition of those involved were not immediately available Sunday.
