Firefighters cook dinner for woman who accidentally hit lifeline alert

The responding crew decided to make the elderly woman dinner after responding to her accidental alert

PETALUMA, Calif. — Firefighters and paramedics who responded to an accidental lifeline alert from an elderly woman ended up making dinner for her.

SF Gate reported that crews responded to a possible emergency after an elderly woman who lived alone hit her lifeline, according to officials. When they arrived, she informed them it was a mistake.

The woman said she was waiting for her son to come over and make her dinner. The crews decided to do her a favor by cooking dinner for her instead.
