Job Announcement Open March 22, 2021—April 21, 2021 Firefighter Testing The Campbell County Fire Department (CCFD) currently is accepting applications and resumes for the position of Firefighter. This testing process is to establish a hiring list to fill expected vacancies this year. The CCFD is an all hazards organization that is responsible for 4,807 square miles and approximately 50,000 citizens. We respond to all fires, hazardous materials, technical rescue, and life threatening emergency medical incidents. In 2020 the CCFD responded to 2,453 incident requests for service.
Testing is scheduled for April 26 and 27 2021
Pay and Benefits Annual Salary Range: $50,037.68 —$62,490.21
• Certification Pay: Up to $2,400.00 annually
• Annual Paid Vacation Time: 127 hours accrued
• Annual Paid Sick Time: 127 hours accrued

2.8% per year of service up to 25 years

• Submit CCFD application, resume, and certifications by April 21, 2021 at 1700 hours MST.
• Application review by CCFD personnel • Invitations to participate in testing process (Not all applicants will be invited to test)
• All candidates will be required to take CCFD pre-employment reading and comprehension test 75% score to pass.

• All candidates will be required to take CCFD physical agility test. Must pass within (7) minutes

Job Requirements

**Required Certifications**
State of Wyoming Drivers License: Class C drivers license within 60 days
Pro Board (2016 or newer) or State of Wyoming Firefighter 1
Current National Registry or State of Wyoming Emergency Medical Technician—Basic
**Preferred Certifications**
Associates Degree from regionally accredited university or community college
NWCG Qualified Firefighter Type II
Pro Board or IFSAC (2016 or newer)
State of Wyoming Hazardous Materials Technician or ability to obtain within one year
The State of Wyoming Fire Marshals Office will not grant reciprocity for any IFSAC or Pro-Board certifications that are older than 5 years
