Lateral Firefighter Paramedic

Responsibilities

Our Firefighter Paramedics provide all hazards emergency services to our citizens. We are a combination agency with approximately 45 career firefighters and about 40 volunteers. We transport to the local hospital, and we work closely with the other fire districts and departments in our county.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application
• High School graduate or equivalent (GED)
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• IFSAC FFI Certification
• Current CPAT Certification (or obtain within 6 months)
• NREMT or WA Paramedic certificate with ACLS, PALS and PHTLS certificates
• Successfully pass drug screening, comprehensive background review, and psychological testing prior to hiring
• 2 years continuous full time employment as a firefighter including within the last 12 months
