Job Description

The International Public Safety Data Institute seeks an NFORS Exposure Tracker Brand Manager. The Brand Manager is responsible for the NFORS Exposure Tracker, a critical tool for helping firefighters track their on-duty exposures. The app is also used to support researchers in building our understanding of these exposures.

As IPSDI is a 100% remote company, successful candidates must be highly self-motivated and capable of working independently. *This is a contract position, approximately 20 hours per week. *

The NFORS Exposure Tracker Brand Manager is responsible for the complete project lifecycle, including, but not limited to, providing day-to-day support, identifying user needs, defining technical requirements, and interfacing with allied partners and organizations.

In concert with the IPSD technical team, the successful candidate will provide user support and educational materials to prospective fire departments and individual users. The NFORS Exposure Tracker Brand Manager is the point person for developing, implementing, and executing educational initiatives. These activities may include campaigns (print, web, social media, etc.), one-off events, and educational program development.

The successful candidate will also lead the identification and development of strategies necessary to develop the next-generation Exposure Tracker app, grow the number of users, and expand their app usage.

The Exposure Tracker may support other IPSDI projects, especially those connected with the exposure tracking data and research.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the fire and emergency service
  • Understanding of the importance of tracking exposures and presumption
  • Possess fantastic interpersonal skills and be a strong leader
  • Highly organized, with an ability to multitask
  • Strong presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skill, including the ability to chair/facilitate meetings and host webinars
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an absolute focus on quality of work
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Business savvy, with the analytical skills necessary to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  • A willingness to listen and to think creatively and innovatively
  • Excellent professional judgment and discretion

Education & Experience

  • Knowledge of customer service practices
  • Technical aptitude
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as HubSpot

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment, and to deliver on detail as well as strategy
  • Ability to address and resolve all issues utilizing the available resources in a timely and proficient manner
