The department requires the candidate Public Safety Self Assessment (PSSA) Part 1. You can access this through your candidate account. NTN suggests completing the PSSA as soon as possible so there is not a delay in your process.

Necessary Certifications :

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver license
• Must possess a current certificate as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or above

Hiring Process : The City of Henderson is continuously accepting applications for Firefighter and Firefighter Trainee. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications and attach required EMT certification or above to apply. Testing will be continuous and candidates successfully completing all weighted assessments will be placed on an eligibility list for consideration for current and future openings.
