New Orleans Capt. seriously injured in vehicle crash
The 16-year veteran flipped a four-wheeler on the department's training grounds
NEW ORLEANS — On Tuesday, New Orleans Fire Department Training Captain Jamie Harris was seriously injured when the vehicle he was operating flipped.
Firefighter Close Calls reports that Capt. Harris, a 16-year veteran, was transported to the hospital and placed in a chemically induced coma. Early reports say that the four-wheeler landed on Capt. Harris when it flipped.
