Memphis firefighter found dead in truck
Neighbors saw him in his vehicle and thought he was asleep
MEMPHIS — Memphis Fire Lt. Antonio Smith was found dead in his vehicle Wednesday evening, nearly 24 hours after responding to a fire call.
FirefighterCloseCalls reports that Lt. Smith had a call at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and was found unresponsive in his vehicle at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday. Neighbors saw him sitting in the truck earlier, but did not check on him as they thought he was asleep.
