N.H. firefighter suffers cardiac arrest during structure fire
The Manchester firefighter was found unresponsive and removed from the building for CPR
MANCHESTER, N.H. — A Manchester firefighter suffered a medical event, prompting a mayday during a Monday morning fire.
The fire department stated that the member was transported to Eliot hospital in cardiac arrest, but that thanks to the immediate efforts of MFD crews and AMR Manchester, the firefighter is in stable but serious condition.
According to WCVB5, the 52-year-old firefighter was found unresponsive inside the building on S. Beech Street, a mayday was called, and the firefighter was removed from the building for CPR and advanced lifesaving measures.
