BATON ROUGE, La. — A Baton Rouge fire crew is being praised for their quick thinking and actions that saved a woman trapped in a car as it was being carried away by flood waters.The firefighters rushed to smash open the window of the vehicle to pull her out before it got swept away, WBRZ 2 reports.
Once out of the car, the rescue crew – Baton Rouge Fire Department Capt. Troy Pate, Fire Equipment Operator Jerome Courville, Firefighter Aaron Samson, and Firefighter Thang Nguyen – pulled her to safety.
