I have been creating and designing Insulated Burn Rooms and Fire Chambers for over 8 years. When the wildfire tragedy happened in Yarnell, Arizona and took the lives of 19 firefighters, I implemented the same technology into Phoenix Fire Shelters.
Many of the fire shelters in use by firefighters today protect only up to 500°F, and can only withstand these temperatures for a short period, at best.
The Phoenix Fire Shelter can be deployed and withstand temperatures in excess of 2,000°F.
Our goal is to finalize our products and make it available to firefighters and individuals in order to help to save lives.
