MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Three firefighters were treated in hospital Thursday after the garage of a Mississauga home collapsed on them.
Two firefighters extinguishing the blaze were knocked down when a wall crumbled from fire damage around 3:45 p.m.
They suffered back and shoulder injuries.
Another firefighter, who moved in to help the men out, suffered from smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion.
The three, along with the homeowner, were treated in hospital.
A couple and their nine-month-old baby live in the home.
