On Jan. 18, a fire erupted in a storage yard and then spread to a commercial structure on East Slauson Avenue in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. Santa Fe Springs Fire Department was the primary attack crew. They were assisted by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Montebello Fire Department. It took firefighters 40 minutes to extinguish the fire.
