WASHINGTON — An off-duty DC Firefighter drove himself to Washington Hospital Center after reportedly being shot several times overnight.
Metropolitan Police say the 25 year old was shot around 12:30 a.m. Thursday. They do not know where the man was shot, though his car did show signs of gunshots. Officials are investigating the circumstances around the incident.
DC Fire and EMS Officials say the unidentified Firefighter has been on the force for 6 years, but has been on leave since March.
The man is currently in critical condition.
