BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — Helping seventh-graders understand the numbers in the Arizona Child Fatality Review Report and how easy they can be affected by making good decisions, was the goal of the Bullhead City Fire Department this month.
Public Education Specialist Larry Tunforss visited the 12- to 14-year-olds, in hopes of shedding some light on the word ‘accident.’
“I never use the word accident,” he told the students at Bullhead City Junior High School. “Even though it might not be planned, 99.9 percent of the time, somebody did something that caused it.”
