PITTSBURGH — A two-alarm blaze on Climax Street in Beltzhoover left a firefighter injured yesterday morning.
The fire started about 5:30 a.m., according to deputy fire chief Dan Hennessy. The house, which was unoccupied, sustained about $25,000 in damage, according to city police and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire.
Authorities did not identify the firefighter, who was taken to a hospital after suffering a minor injury while battling the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
