GUTHRIE, Iowa — An Iowa firefighter died in April following training, according to a USFA fatality notice released Friday.
After participating in a fire department training drill on April 21, Guthrie Center Fire Department Firefighter Steven Scott Crannell, 47, suffered a heart attack at his residence,
EMS was dispatched to his home and transported him to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead on the morning of April 22.
